Active Citizenship & Democracy Projects

Active citizenship and democracy projects encourage a culture of peace and democratic engagement. These projects focus on Global Citizenship Education,
especially for students and young people from vulnerable backgrounds, preparing
them to be future global citizens.

Through these initiatives, we aim to increase young people’s participation in
democratic life at local, national, and EU levels. We focus on helping them build skills to create safe, inclusive spaces and encourage critical thinking—empowering them to become active, engaged members of society from an early age.
