BAM
Description
BAM is a project launched locally and nationally in collaboration with the puppet theatre group Celesta. It is an invitation to kindergarten and primary school teachers and students across Greece to embark on a journey into the world of emotional education. In this highly interactive show that takes place inside the classroom, children are involved from the beginning to the end. Blending puppetry, theatre, and educational drama techniques, we invite teachers and students alike to:break their routine and transform their classroom into a vibrant theatre space andreflect together on a powerful question: What is it that ignites within me?
Aim
BAM helps children explore and strengthen their emotional skills. They learn to recognise and understand emotions, manage their feelings, and develop self-regulation and healthy boundaries. Through playful techniques, they also discover practical ways to handle anger and calm themselves, building confidence and emotional resilience along the way.Throughout this journey, our goal is to create a supportive environment where emotional expression is not only accepted but celebrated as part of healthy personal development.

Results
After the performance, teachers receive an activity booklet filled with interactive exercises, expression tools and storytelling prompts designed to explore the topic more deeply. Through these activities, students are encouraged to recognise a wide range of emotions, express their feelings safely and constructively, and build confidence in their emotional expression. Our creative tools such as breathing games, mindfulness moments, and imaginative role-play games offer students practical strategies to calm themselves and find balance when strong emotions arise.
